We can highly recommend the Hotel Passage which stands on the corner of Kiraly Street and Karoly Boulevard, once the sight of the first independent synagogue in Hungary and now the heart of the beautifully restored Jewish Quarter. In 2004 a pleasant Mediterranean type hotel complex was built on the unused site and there is now a hotel, apartments, event centre, restaurants, shops and parking.
