About Budapest

As well as providing top quality dental care, we do hope that you will enjoy your trip to Hungary and can take the time to visit the historical sights of Budapest.

Hungary lies in the heart of Central Eastern Europe and shares borders with Austria, Slovakia, Romania, Serbia Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia and Ukraine. It is a country with a varied history and much culture.

Budapest, the capital, is on the banks of the Danube river and has been considered a top European destination for a long time.

Originally the city was split into three parts and the Danube ran from north to south through the city. There was the Buda district, Pest and Obuda.  Now many of the cities most famous landmarks are situated in the old Buda district, close to the city centre.

The clinics are based close to the centre of the city and so if you opt for dental treatment abroad through us, you will have plenty of opportunity to explore the sights.  You can visit the Opera House, the Royal Palace, Buda Castle, walk along the old city wall, take a boat trip along the Danube and visit the Museum of Fire Arts or the Hungarian National Gallery.

Hungary is famous for its mineral spa baths and treatments. There are around 400 thermal springs in 85 different locations and people visit from all over the world to try out the therapeutic and medicinal properties of the spa.

What better way to relax after your Abroad dental treatment than to soak in a natural thermal bath. The thermal waters are supposed to be particularly good for reliving muscle tension, aches and pains and helping circulatory problems.

If you are willing to travel further a field and explore more of Hungary, you can visit Lake Balaton, which is Europe’s largest freshwater lake or one of the many nature conservation areas.
